What Does the Tour Look Like?

Start: Norblin Factory Museum

The tour begins at the Norblin Factory Museum, where you will discover the history of one of the most important industrial sites in Warsaw.

You will see original historic machinery and the museum’s collection of silver-plated tableware produced at the former factory. You will learn about the objects that once found their way onto tables in Poland and abroad, as well as the changing customs surrounding food and dining culture.

Warsaw Through Food

From the history of silver-plated tableware, we move on to the story of what was served on it.

You will discover the history of Warsaw’s former marketplaces and learn what the city’s residents ate every day and what was reserved for special occasions.

It is a story of Warsaw told through food, trade, and the everyday lives of its residents.

Finale: Tasting at BioBazar

The tour ends at BioBazar – Poland’s first certified organic market.

During the tasting, you will try selected products from producers and artisans present at BioBazar, including Polish cheeses, artisanal chałka with homemade preserves, traditional pickles, and pierogi, with a few flavours left as a surprise.
